Family Frame Wall

I am about done with my Family Frame Wall project. It has taken awhile but I finally got the inspiration needed to get it done.

I used rusted wire on this one. Just stapled it to the back. I out a little Washi Tape on the clothes pins.

I had an old metal plate that I put behind this frame. I used burlap and hot glued it to the frame. The little pictures are Mod Podged to tiles and then a little magnet on the back.

Chicken wire was used for this one. I have been wanting to do a chicken wire frame like forever. I made the ribbon flower and the pictures are trimmed out with Duct Tape.

I used colored wire for this frame and just wrapped it around and stapled it on the back side.

I made little circles with the wire to hold the pictures on this one and then stamped words around the frame.

This frame is backed with scrapbook paper and I added a little ribbon flower I made. The clip allows easy changing of the picture. I have a recipe of my husbands mother in this one now. It is her famous chicken dressing casserole.

Grey Goose Vodka Bottle Transformation

This project really turned out great. It was one of those that kind of made me giddy as I was doing it. I really had no plan, just figured it out as I went. My husband had thrown the bottle away just like he had with others in the past. I for some reason took it out of the garbage and just thought I could do something artsy with it. I spray painted it silver, and The twine trim is from one of those good smelling wooden fruit things you get at Hobby Lobby. It just fit so perfectly. I made the burlap flower.

Owl Necklace

Ok I have tried my hand and doing some jewelry. I need to practice some more but I think this owl necklace turned out pretty good.

Felt Owl/Sock Owl

I made these two owls  ...  One is made from felt and the other is made from a sock. I got the inspiration from owls posted on Pinterest but I gave them my own special tweaks. I am going to have an owl Christmas tree this year and these two owls will have their special place on the tree.

Owl Thimble

I found this really cool owl thimble at an antique store in Fort Payne, Alabama.
I was hunting owl stuff of course and the lady seen I had picked up some thimbles. She remembered that she had an owl thimble in her secret stash. It is metal and just very very cool!

Fall Decor

This is our outside fall decor this year.
The Grand baby thinks it is pretty cool!

I made this owl from weed clothe, painted it and stuffed it with plastic bags.

I had to stick another owl in of course!

Wooden/Glass Candlestick

This is another candlestick that I made using items I had on hand and some Dollar Store items.
It could be used with a candle, candy, flowers or anything else you could imagine.

Hummingbird

We had these hummingbirds this year that would actually perch. I did not know that they would perch at all. The ones I have always seen would flutter as they ate from the feeder. I looked it up on the Internet and it turns out that it is not that unusual. Found this one post that said they would rather perch to feed. Learn something new every day...

Rag Wreath

I have been doing pretty good at using up a lot of my on hand craft supplies. My latest project is what I call my rag wreath. I took a styrofoam wreath form and some fabric that I had bought at a yard sale like 7 years ago. I ripped the fabric into about 2 inch strips and then cut them into 2 inch pieces. I started in the center of the form, I wrapped the material on the end of a small paint brush and dipped the end into glue. Then I just poked it into the form all the way around. I continued to to this all the way around the form. I made a cute little felt owl to spruce it up a bit.
