I have been crafting! I really should be organizing my craft room but I just can't seem to get in the mood to do it. I start going thru stuff and find myself crafting instead. Maybe if I craft enough I won't have anything left to organize....
This canvas is an 8x10 that I put one coat of purple craft paint on. I cut the tree, leaves and letters with my cricut. The owls I cut from some of the left over material from the owl chair in an earlier post. I put 2 coats of decoupage and called it done. Pretty cute I must say so myself.

My mother-in-law used to make the most awesome chicken casserole. I really miss her casserole that she would make just for me because she knew it was my favorite. I have searched thru her recipes hoping to find the right chicken casserole. Do you have any idea how many different chicken casserole recipes there are.? A ton! Well last night I was once again looking thru one of her recipe books and I was so sure I had found the 'one'. I made it tonight and it was real close but still not hers. I am going to keep this one for mine because it is sooooo delicious and very simple to make.
This is how I made my chicken casserole. I boiled the chicken breasts the night before with seasonings ( I used season all). You will need to shred the chicken real fine and this works better if the chicken is cold. I used 3 chicken breasts.
3 chicken breasts finally shredded
2 cans of cream of chicken soup
8 oz of sour cream
1 tsp of chicken bouillon or 1 cube of chicken bouillon
2 packs of Ritz crackers finally crushed
1 stick of butter melted
Spray the casserole (8x10) dish with non-stick spray
Layer the chicken in bottom
Bring the soup, sour cream and bouillon to a boil and pour over the chicken
Mix the butter with the crushed crackers and put on top
Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 30 minutes

Have to post this picture so I can pin it. I was baking chocolate chip cookies with the grand baby (Lashia) and I got a chance to get this great photo. When I seen it the first thing that came to mind was "anticipation" She is so precious. She turns 2 today and we love her so very much....she keeps it real for all of us.
